bakit lagi sumasablay?

this question was thrown to us by a substitute teacher in philosophy, more in rhetoric than in inquiry. it struck me indeed, because almost everything nowadays, "sumasablay". it's not the time of the month yet, does pms come this early already? jeeez. i need to acquire that virtue called patience. how do i get that? it's just so hard to get hold of it.

i have yet to learn all the features of this blogspot, i want to create a link to the dsws blog but i can't seem to figure out how. there's never enough time (or so i reason out).

today was generally a bad day, but thanks to people who make things seem so light, so simple, i actually managed to get by. i sound so miserable, i know, it makes me feel guilty. i need to let it out, and this is the only effective way i know of. thank God there is always a way.

i saw k again today, and my emotions are at another conflict yet again. he was distant, as usual. i couldn't help myself i had to bring up something i know well enough he was avoiding. how perfect can that get? i can feel the gap widening by the minute. why can't i just get over it while it's still early? ayan, sablay nanaman. that's how we all are. always wanting a fast solution, making ourselves believe that they are always the right ones. i honestly want to get over this. it's not worth my time. but then again, lagi tayo sumasablay, for one reason or another. maybe we should even be thankful. sablay talaga.

thank God for laughter, thank God for love. :)

“That self-same well from which our laughter rises was often times filled with tears. The deeper that sorrow carries into our being, the more joy it can contain.” – Kahlil Gibran
