Had breakfast with Trisha today. She's in town for Christmas, after more than a year of being in Australia for her masters degree. It was great to finally catch up with her, from EGG (wow seems like eons ago!) to how life is in Oz! Wow it's been that long Twin! I really missed you! :)

Also had the long overdue dinner with Jap tonight. Less ranting from both of us I hope. Let's just continue to surf through life. Picked up a lot of analogies, from surfing to the Porsche haha ;p I'm really happy for you Jappy, thanks thanks for being a genuine friend. :)

16 days to go

16 days to go before Christmas. The days have been faster than they've ever been, I don't remember it being this hasty last year. The traditional Christmas picnic seemed very rushed as well, or maybe because I was way too late. And my colds are killing me. Ok enough of the whining.

Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year, a far second to summer. I have yet to feel the holiday rush too, maybe it's all in the mind. Let's move on to happier thoughts. Thanks for trying to make me feel better. :)

It's been such an exhausting day. I had to deal with very unresponsive candidates, familial turmoil, the buzz. Karen's right - it's at these times when you're confused, lack sleep, and become an emotional baggage counter when you are most vulnerable.

And then you give me a ring. One of your surprise calls. Even if they're about the most mundane things. Suddenly I'm okay. Pathetic. :)

Long weekend. 1 hour turned half day work. Shop. Shop some more. Cubao expo. Bottle caps. Grilled veggies. Cold nights. Cold mornings. Cold days. Holiday fever all around town. Red shine. Drop the whites. Small treats for the weekend. Routine combo. Indie bazaar. Trial mix and match. Surprise calls. Rare good moods. Maybe I will do anything for rare good moods and longer conversations. I don't want a lot for Christmas. All I want for Christmas is you. :)
