what the world needs

We need to be nicer, happier, have more positive bones in us. We need to stop worrying, complain less, do away with violent reactions to things we don't even try to understand.

I usually dread Sunday night because it only means one thing - Hello Manic Monday. But tonight, I'm trying to see things in a different light. I need to start believing, really stick to my think positive mantra, and create opportunities by putting myself out there and not settling for mediocrity. It's almost mid-year and I feel like I'm not even halfway there. Let's goooooooo!

I love Coke's new campaign - Open Coke, Open Happiness. Aside from the fact that I just had too much of the sugar rush-inducing drink the past few days (blame it on the sweltering heat), I think their new tagline is just right for the season - summer, hard times, and everything in between.

My Holy Week's been a quiet one, a perfect opportunity to rethink and reflect. I'm not really one who lays down all the details out in the open, so I chose the image above to best describe everything. Life really is good, and there's just so much to be grateful for. We - well, I - tend to blow things out of proportion at times, stress myself over simple matters, worry too much, you get the gist. They always say that Easter is another chance to start anew, take another shot to change for the better, so yeah, it's time to open happiness. :)

Stop messing with my mind. Or maybe i'm the one messing with my mind. I know you too well, and I just don't want to admit it. Lately though, I've been thinking if I should already raise the white flag because this game, it's getting tiring. If you really wanted to, there are a gazillion and one ways. I'm tired of stepping up. I hate it that I can stretch my patience all the way to Alaska for you. And I am not a patient person. So this is how it feels.
