blessed

yup. that one word can sum up how i felt during my 19th birthday. :D
it started completely different - unlike all other years i wasn't in my own home, where i'd usually stare at the ceiling and wait for the clock to strike 12. this year i was at shiela's house, editing the drama queen video, and during the last few minutes before the 28th, torn between taking a power nap and keeping myself awake till the first hour of my being 19. thank God i've got my dear friends for groupmates! Yda, who isn't part of our cs group (but still has a role in the video!) slept over as well (mahal talaga ako nun! ;p). they gave me a cake topped with M&M's crispies which formed my name :D the cake was really good! we just couldn't miss the picture-taking despite our tired and sleepy conditions. :) thanks guys, you really know how to make me happy, hehe :D love ya! :)

i wasn't able to get enough sleep (as with the past few days), so obviously my bags were hideous. good thing mom wasn't here coz i'm pretty sure she'd really freak out if she saw them, haha. so anyway, when i got to school, ds peeps greeted me, with a big "happy bday popi" banner inside our little room. they also gave me a box of Cello's doughnuts, with greetings written all over the outer cover. Thanks guys :) in pom, sir gave us our grades and i am so not happy about that one. thanks to ara's pa-consensya hirits to sir for ruining my birthday, sir said he'll try to make 3 long tests instead of only 2, the extra one being a take-home case. i better do good on that. after pom, i heard mass by myself, something i haven't done in quite a long time already. better start doing that again, or at least spend some time at the adoration chapel. birthday resolution? hmmmm...
after mass, i went to the bench, and kynan gave me a grocery bag filled with my favorite food! i'm losing the battle but for now, it's ok, haha ;p i got choco butternut from Dunkin Donuts, sugar cookies that spelled out my name, a big bag of mr. chips and cheese tortillos! thanks kynan! :D

when i got home, i quickly unloaded my stuff from the overnight, and reloaded with clothes for the joint celebration - my birthday dinner and a despedida for t.jen (sob sob) at t.pau's place, and the sleepover at heritage since p.greg was here. florence accompanied me all the way to paranaque - man, i will never commute all the way there again! it took us TWO long hours to get there! i was so exhausted! i freshened up and chose the new off-shoulder blouse t.des gave me as my birthday top :) so on to dinner...food was great, kwentuhan was even more fun! but the gifts were the best part...just kidding! ;p i got really funky earrings from t.jus and vier - Victorian inspired dangling earrings from Get Happy. i love it! :D
at around 12, t.jen brought me to Heritage, Tella was already there. We talked and talked and talked, caught up on what's been happening, and ordered more food at 2 am, just a few minutes before snoozing off. talk about piggies! haha ;p
today (well technically yesterday), t. andy and t.mini treated me to CPK (i just LOVE the grilled chicken barbeque salad!), with Tella, Sandi, and Kimi. More food huh? ;p

on the whole, it was a good birthday :D thanks to everyone who greeted me - those who called, texted, sent a message through friendster and tagboard, greeted me in person...thank you everyone! :D
